Skilled Trades Bursary 2025/26

The Skilled Trades Bursary Program provides a $1,000 bursary to Grade 11 or 12 students who face financial and other barriers to completing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), who are enrolled in a cooperative education program, and have plans to pursue a skilled trade.

Eligible candidates will have earned, or are earning, two credits in a cooperative education program working in a skilled trades placement, and demonstrate leadership in the skilled trades i.e. student mentorship, participating in a conference/activity promoting the skilled trades, or sharing personal experiences to the broader student population.

Please note that students who have already received their OSSD and returned to secondary school for additional credits ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for the Skilled Trades Bursary.

Registration opens January 5th, 2026 at 9am.
